Meet your teacher

Jodi bridges a deep understanding of body mechanics with yoga philosophy and breath work to help students access a state of calm and balance. Jodi’s teaching is playful, therapeutic, and grounding. Her intention is to guide students towards more space in the body, deeper connections, greater self-awareness, empowerment, health and well-being. She has been teaching for over a decade, and her teachings draw from a variety of trainings:

• BSc in Kinesiology from McMaster University
• Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500
• Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider
• 160+ hours of Training in Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga

Are you in?

Frequently asked questions

Will I be qualified to teach restorative yoga after completion of this course?

If you complete and submit the course requirements, you are eligible for 20 (contact*) hours of continuing education credits with the Yoga Alliance. If you have already completed 200 hours (or more) of Yoga teacher training, you can share this knowledge as a Restorative Yoga class. If you have not completed an additional 200 hours of yoga teacher training, you can share the information at your discretion; however, this 20 hours is by no means a complete yoga teacher training!

Are there live lectures at scheduled times?

No. All course material is recorded and available to you inside your membership portal, to access anytime.

Will I be able to contact the instructor if I have questions about the course?

Yes! You can connect with the instructor and other students through the community forum, or contact Jodi directly via email (jodi@shutupandyoga.com) for more personal or immediate requests.

How long will I have access to the course materials?

Once you’ve purchased the course, you have instant access to the course materials. From then on, you have lifetime access to the course & all additional yoga videos, lessons, and new features that will be added to the course as we continue improving it.

Will I be able to get in touch with other students taking the course?

Yes, there will be a space for discussion under each lesson and a forum area called Communities. After signing up, you will receive a link to both the course and the dedicated community, where you can introduce yourself, ask questions, share insights, and much more.

Can I do this course if I’ve never done yoga before?

Yes! Restorative yoga and the style of practice in this course are very gentle. If you have any specific questions, please reach out to Jodi directly at jodi@shutupandyoga.com.

Do you offer payment plans?

What’s your refund policy?
