Jennifer Kurdyla is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, yoga teacher, and writer. Having worked for almost a decade in trade publishing and editing, she approaches her work in wellness as part of the storytelling process each of us goes through in our individual evolution, as well as in finding our place in the larger universe. Through her ongoing study and practice of Ayurveda and yoga, she supports students and clients in uncovering the nuances of their unique life stories, such how their daily routines, choices, and interactions with others are all serving the well-being of their whole self. She has maintained a plant-based lifestyle since 2008, and develops recipes with an attention on local, seasonal, and herbal ingredients for a simpler approach to cooking and eating. She is the co-author of Root & Nourish: An Herbal Cookbook for Women's Wellness (Simon & Schuster/Tiller Press, 4/6/2021), and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
