Yoga & Inclusion, Part II: Practical Tips to Ground Your Teaching in Inclusion
In part I of this series on yoga & inclusion, we left off with a big question: how,...
Sarah considers herself a life-long student of yoga. Drawing from well-rounded training in vinyasa and advanced sequencing from Toronto’s Mula Yoga, she has experienced incredible physical, energetic, and spiritual benefits from the practice and strives to share those effects with students, whether it’s teaching kid-friendly park yoga, leading virtual movement breaks for colleagues, or sharing reflections on her Medium page (@MixedUpYogi). She seeks to incorporate curiosity, mutual respect, and a sense of play into her classes. When she isn’t practicing or studying yoga, she develops engagement strategies for public sector organizations with Argyle, a Canadian public relations agency. She lives in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam Nations.
